Arrive in the capital of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow located 414 km east of Delhi and also famous as City of Nawabs. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Evening visit Buddha Park recently built by former chief minister of state to honor B.R. Ambedkar the staunch follower of Buddhism. The park is also known as DR. B.R. AMBEDKAR SAMAJIK PARIVARTAN STHAL. Overnight in Lucknow.

Morning visit siteseeing of Lucknow including Bara Imambara built by Asaf ud Daula the former Nawab in 1974. Also visit Asif Mosque nearby Imambara. The other attraction of Lucknow that you can visit are Rumi Darwaza, Clock Tower and Chhota Imambara. After the tour drive to Shravasti, 160 km north of Lucknow. On arrival checkin to your hotel.

Shravasti is one of six important places in Gautama Buddha's life. Morning visit Jetavana monastery site where you can see remains of Buddha's hut (Gandhakuti), Mahabodhi tree and some small stupas of Jetavana monastery. Gautam Buddha spent lot of years of his life meditating here. Afterwards drive from Shravasti to Lumbini 200 km north east in Nepal and en-route visiting Kapilavastu where Gautama Buddha spent his childhood and grew up. On arrival check in at hotel.

Start your tour with sightseeing of Mayadevi temple in Lumbini, where Maya Devi gave birth to a child name as Siddhartha later to become Gautama Buddha. You can also see Ashoka's pillar, ancient bathing pond and sacred Bodhi tree in the vicinity. In the afternoon drive from Lumbini to Kushinagar 175 km, where Gautam Buddha attained Parinirvana after falling ill from eating a poisonous species of Mushrooms. On arrival check in at the hotel.

Kushinagar is a small town located on the eastern border of Uttar Pradesh with Bihar. This small town host many of important and significant Buddhist relics in the nearby Museum. You can visit here: Parinirvana Temple, Ramabhar Stupa and Nirvana Chaitya. Further proceed to Patna and en-route visit Vailshali 60 km before Patna. Gautama Buddha had paid frequent visit to Vaishali and had established Bhikshuni Sangha here. In Vaishali you can visit Relic Stupa, Coronation Tank, World Peace pagoda and Kutagarasala Vihara. Drive further and check in to your hotel.

Morning drive past Gol Ghar and proceed to Bodhagaya, en-route visit two gems of Buddhism Nalanda and Rajgir. Nalanda is famous for being the host of first multi-cultural international university having one of the biggest library of that time. Great disciple of Buddha Sariputra was born here. The description of Nalanda can be also found in historical texts of Chinese travelers Hiuen Tsiang and I-Tsing. The excavations has unearthed many remains of temples, stupas, stone architectures in Nalanda. The antiques and remains from excavation can be seen in the nearby museum. Rajgir is the place where Gautama Buddha preached on the Gridhra-kuta (Vulture’s Peak). You can also visit Venuvana, Saptaparni Cave and Bimbisara’s Jail Rajgir is also famous for Brahmakund among Hindu devotees. Further drive to Bodhgaya and check-in to your hotel.

One of most important place in Buddhism is Bodhgaya where Siddhartha become Buddha the possessor of Great Knowledge. The Bodhi or Banyan Tree where he attained the Supreme Knowledge can be seen here. Visit also Mahabodhi Temple and many other Buddhist Temples. These temples are built by different sects of Buddhism. In the vicinity of Bodhagaya one can see various things like: Buddha statue of 80 ft height, Buddha Kund, Lotus Tank, Chinese Temple and Monastery, Buddhist Monastery of Bhutan, Burmese Temple, International Buddhist House & Japanese Temple, Tibetan Monastery, Thai Temple & Monastery, Archaeological Museum. Overnight in Bodhgaya.

Today drive from Bodhgaya to Varanasi which is located 230 Kms East. On arrival proceed to see the ruins of Sarnath. It is a place from where Sangha came into existence. You can visit the nearby museum to see the antiques of many different times found in the excavations. The main attraction in Sarnath is the Dhamek Stupa, which is believed to mark the spot where Buddha delivered his first sermon. Visitors can also explore the ruins of monasteries and stupas from the ancient past, reflecting the city's prominence as a major center of Buddhist learning. Drive to your hotel and check-in. Later in the evening visit the Aarti ceremony being conducted on the ghats of holy river Ganges. Overnight at the hotel.

Morning start your tour with a visit of Kashi Vishwanath temple. This temple is considered as most revered and holy among the Hindus. Later on visit the famous Banaras Hindu University, Second half of the day free to explore the colorful and busy streets of Varanasi. Overnight at the hotel.

Morning boat ride at Holy river Ganges. See the beautiful and live panorama of people's faith who start their day with ablution in Ganges. Afterward departure transfer to Varanasi airport for your onward flight to Delhi or other destination.
