Trekking Tour Bhutan

Fly from Delhi to Paro. Arrive and transfer to your hotel. The city Paro is located at an altitude of 2200m.

Today enjoy the tour of Buddhist temple Kyichu Lhakhang, Drukgyel Dzong and hike to Tiger Nest.

Altitude 3000 m. and 12kms trek (4-5 hrs). In the morning visit National museum of Bhutan and later on climb to Jeledzong. In order to avoid the winds during night we will make our Camp below the dzong.

Altitude 3750 m. and 10 kms trek (5-6 hrs). In the morning cross Jele La (3490m) range. The famous trail takes you through dense forests of rhododendrons and alpine trees. On a clear sunny day, you can also see Mount Jhomolhari from the ridge. Setup you camp near yak-herder's camp at Jangchulakha.

Altitude of 3800 m. and 11 kms trek. (5-6hrs). Hike 200 m further and then walk along the ridge to Jangchu La located at 4200 meters. Enjoy the beautiful views from Jangchu La ridge. Later on we will start our descend to Jimilangtsho lake. It is a big lake, known for its giant trout fish. Here we will do our camping. This place is also host to snow leopards and you can sometime hear the sound of this beast. You will be protected by our horseman so need not to worry.

ALtitude of 3700 m. and 21 kms long trek. (8-9 hrs). Today start early morning as we have long way to go. Slowly climb through rhododendron trees towards the lake of Janetsho and Simkota. Big trout fish are also found in both these lakes. Further climb till you reach Phume La located at 4250 m. The majestic view of Himalayan mountains including Gangkhar Punsum peak can be seen from here on a clear visible day. Setup camp near Phajoding monastery which is an old monastery of 13th century.

Descend to Thimphu valley. It takes around 2 hrs and easy to walk through treks. After arriving at Thimpu you can visit some local markets and further drive to Paro. Overnight.
